I am writing to bring to your immediate attention the grave misconduct of Mr. Hu Xiao (胡晓), currently employed at Sichuan Quanxing Law Firm (四川全兴律师事务所) and a graduate of the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics Law School (上海对外经贸大学法学院).

Surveillance footage and investigations have revealed that between April 20 and April 23, 2025, Mr. Hu Xiao repeatedly returned to a flower shop in Chengdu late at night. He first lured and abused several pet kittens, then later came back with a crossbow, methodically hunting and killing the kittens in cold blood. He was caught on camera dragging their bodies away, hiding them, and attempting to destroy evidence. Upon arrest, one of the kitten’s corpses was recovered, showing clear signs of violent trauma and suffering. Further reports suggest that Hu Xiao had previously been involved in multiple cases of animal cruelty since 2023.

Hu Xiao’s use of a crossbow in public to commit violence violates the Public Security Administration Punishments Law (《治安管理条例》) and professional ethics. Moreover, the kittens were private property of the flower shop, making his actions a criminal offense of willfully destroying another’s property.  Such premeditated, sadistic behavior demonstrates a complete lack of empathy, moral integrity, and respect for life — qualities that are absolutely essential in the legal profession. His actions have caused widespread outrage across China and internationally, severely damaging the reputation of his law firm, the legal profession, and China’s image abroad

Given the extreme severity of his actions, we respectfully but firmly demand that the association:

- Immediately investigate Hu Xiao’s conduct.

- Revoke his license to practice law.

- Recommend all law firms cease professional relations with him.

The legal community must show zero tolerance for such behavior. Upholding the honor and credibility of the profession requires urgent, decisive action.

Unfortunately, acts of violence against animals continue in Chinese schools. 

On April 13th, 2025, a boy from Three Gorges University in Yichang, Hubei Province, maliciously and cruelly trampled a pregnant orange cat to death. 

A junior boy wearing glasses at Three Gorges University, No. 8 University Road, Xiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, used someone else's ID card to surf the Internet at the Diamond Internet Cafe near the south gate of Three Gorges University. Later, the man noticed a little orange cat eating behind him, and while the owner and others were away, he kicked the kitten hard.

The surveillance footage showed that when the man saw the kitten eating, he approached the kitten while playing with his mobile phone, and then suddenly assaulted the kitten for no reason. It is reported that the kitten was raised by the owner of an Internet cafe and was pregnant. The man's behavior is suspected of violating the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law" and suspected of infringing on other people's property. The local police should deal with it seriously as soon as possible. At the same time, Three Gorges University should impose corresponding punishment on the boy’s illegal and irregular behavior. He should be expelled from school. 

The pregnant cat was eating peacefully in her own restaurant, but she didn't expect to encounter such a disaster. It is even more difficult for the innocent Internet cafe owner to accept that the furry children he had raised for many years and treated like family members were killed at will. It is even more difficult for us to imagine that the man would be so bold as to commit violence in public. 

The reputation of Chinese universities as places where animals are often tortured and killed is becoming widespread. Please lead by example and do something about this. Punish the student and expel him from school.

讽刺的是，这名学生竟然正在学习社会学，这更加应当成为学校采取严厉措施的理由。

教育机构及其学生应当以良好的行为为榜样，并致力于让自己的国家变得更加美好，无论他们身处何地。因此，华中农业大学不仅未采取应有的行动，反而掩盖了苏志鹏（Su Zhipeng）恶劣且病态的行为，令人深感失望。

These acts of cruelty are not only inhumane but also indicative of a deeply disturbed and sadistic mind. Besides, See Liang Foong is an active member of multiple Chinese cat abuse groups on Telegram, which our community has been combating since 2023.

We, along with thousands of animal rights advocates, are demanding justice for these horrific acts. See Liang Foong's actions must be taken seriously. We request your company to implement immediate measures for his suspension and subsequent dismissal. Your company's intervention in this matter is crucial not only to ensure that justice is done, but also to send a clear message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
