Feline Guardians PERU meet the Chinese Embassy in LIMA
September 2024
September 2024
A second Chinese embassy in Latin America has reached out to the Feline Guardians team to discuss the protests they have seen over the past several months. The embassy stressed that they are sympathetic to our cause and agree that animal cruelty should be punished. They appreciate our efforts in fighting against cat torture and believe that those efforts will bear fruit.
The embassy has also offered to facilitate communication with the central Chinese government for any documentation we need to present to them, and they plan to express Feline Guardians' concerns to the government on our behalf. They've asked many clarifying questions and have requested a great deal of information and evidence. The Feline Guardians team is preparing an evidence package to share with them.
As always, thank you to all the activists around the world speaking up for these innocent beings. However, we are not out of the woods yet and there is still work to be done. Please keep up with the actions, please get more people involved, and please be louder than ever! If you have been hesistant to start a protest or contact your embassy/consulate, this is your sign to start. The animals NEED you. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
