STEP 1 - Solidify your organizers. Make sure you have 2 or 3 people all in to help with planning. Start an instagram or Whatsapp group for planning purposes.

STEP 2 - Decide where you want to protest. The Chinese embassy or a consulate is good or any large Chinese building. If not, find a large open public area with ample foot traffic.

STEP 3 - Start permits. Some places may require permits to protest and for sound amplification (megaphones) or to show videos/leaflet. Make sure you check your city’s permits and file those so that you know how long it will take to get the permits back. It could take days to weeks. That will help determine when your event will be.

STEP 4 - Check the weather and choose a protest date where it will be nice out. If youre having it at a Chonese embassy or consulate, have the protest on a weekday, midday so that people are in the consulate. Check the times the building is open and operational.

STEP 5 - After you have solified your date and location. Make your flyer for advertisement. Put it on Facebook and instagram (perhaps create a FB event) to start getting people interested. Ask to post it in local cat groups and vegan groups online and in person.

STEP 6- See if you can get any local vegans or animal rights or activism froups involved. Those people are always keen to join.

STEP 7 - You and the other organizers syart gathering and making materials like signs, posters, flyers and fact sheets to hand out. Assign jobs to do some of these things. You can get a lot of the info from feline guardians and i am also giving them all the stuff i have creates for new york.

STEP 8 - Make sure you have a group call every night or every other night to make sure everything is on track.

STEP 9 - Make sure to use gruesome, unblurred images. Those make the most impact.
